2 Ways to Convert Non-Flv Video To Animated Gif

1. Open Ulead GIF Animator and then choose “Add Video” in the drop-down menu of “File” to import the avi file.

2. Delete the frame you don’t want in the Timeline section.

3. Click “File” and select “Save as“. Choose “GIF File” in the drop-down menu and then the whole process of converting avi video to animated gif has completed.

II. Convert popular format video to animated gif

Simple as Ulead GIF Animator is, it can only support the import of limited files. If you want to convert other video format to animated gif, you can try this method. Though the operation may quite complicate, but it can guarantee the quality of the output file. The process will be divided into three steps.

1. Convert video to flv file

①. Open Video Converter and choose “Add Video Files” in the drop-down menu of “File“.

②. Set the output file as flv file in the drop-down menu of “Profile” and then click conversion button.

2. Convert flv to swf file

①. Open Moyea FLV Editor Ultimate and choose “FLV” option in the drop-down menu of “Import” to import the flv file you have just converted.

②. Drag the video and drop it into the Timeline area and then you can edit the flv file or choose the parts you want.

③. Click “Export SWF” icon below the menu bar and then export flv file to swf file.

3. Convert flash video to animated gif

①. Open Moyea SWF to Video Converter, click “Browser” and then choose “From Folder” in the drop-down menu.

②. Click “Export” tab, check “Image series” and then choose “Animated GIF” in the drop-down menu of “Style“.

③. Click “Convert” tab and then click “Play and Capture” button. When the video finishes, click “Finish” button to start the process of converting swf file to animated gif.

After all those three steps, you have succeeded in converting video to animated gif. Complicate as this method is, it can be applied to various video files to help you convert video to animated gif.
